Dear Colleagues and Friends of the pancreas,

Bucharest PancreaticFest 2015 is a meeting dedicated to pancreatic diseases which put together two traditionally meetings: EUS Workshop for Pancreatic Pathology and The Annual Course for Pancreatic Diseases. Under this umbrella name we try to join forces of all gastroenterologists, endoscopists and surgeons to improve the care of our patients suffering from pancreatic disorders.

This year the meeting comprises the 3rd Course for Pancreatic Diseases and the 4th EUS Workshop for Pancreatic Pathology and it will take place on September 11-12,at Crowne Plaza Hotel Bucharest.

During the first day, dedicated to EUS Workshop, renowed national and international experts (Peter Vilmann from Copenhagen, Denmark and Erwin Santo from Tel Aviv, Israel) will be able to offer you a high educational program. The EUS Live Demo will be transmitted from The Emergency Military Hospital „Carol Davila” like in previous years where an enthusiastic team of doctors and nurses coordinated by Mariana Jinga will be engaged in the management of case presentations and live demonstrations.We will focus on teaching EUS from indication to procedure itself.The Workshop is meantboth forexperienced and less experienced endoscopist.

The second day is the Course Day, dedicated to Pancreatic Cancer,Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis. In this yoear we have the privilege to have in our programm well known pancreatologists from Romania and abroad (Peter Hegyi and Dora Mosztbacher from Szeged, Hungary, Stephan Haas from Stockholm, Sweden and Radu Tutuian from Berne, Switzerland.

At the end of the day will be a fruitful dialog between Hungarian and Romanian pancreatologists.
